I found a lot of very interesting ideas about digital media from class members sites. For instance, someone was worried about what would happen if all this media suddenly disappears because of an energy crisis. On the other hand, somebody else wrote thinking about how it's hard for parents to regulate their kids anymore. Kids could be watching damaging things on the internet without their kids knowing anything about it. Sarah had a lot of youtube videos and one was about computer dating. One youtube had various people expressing their opinions on computer dating. This made me think that you might not have more luck than with actual dating, however it might work any worse, as well.
Another website reflected on digital media in the future that presented a rosy picture. This site suggested that all the TV networks might go all-digital, along with newspapers, books and magazines. The website suggested that this would make everything better, and it attacked the idea of censorship. However, I think some kinds of regulation are actually a positive idea, particularly controls over spam and viruses.
